Cleveland Browns' Corner Leigh Bodden Acquitted

RealFootball365.comSenior Writer IFebruary 8, 2008

Cleveland cornerback Leigh Bodden has been acquitted of multiple charges stemming from an incident with police last September at Hopkins International Airport in Cleveland. Bodden had been charged with failure to comply with a police order, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

It looks like those who thought Bodden was harassed because he is black might have been right. Bodden, who has been with the Browns for five seasons, had his best year yet in 2007—career highs in tackles (88) and interceptions (six).

Fantasy Football Impact

Bodden is one of the good, young players for a bad defense in Cleveland.
