The Jets can go two ways after their humbling loss to the Denver Broncos. Are they going to stumble against a 4-8 team and begin the process of sending their season down the tubes or are they going to take care of business and show why they might be the best team in the AFC?
I think the Jets are hungry this week. I think Kris Jenkins is embarrassed about the way he played last week. I think Shaun Ellis is embarrassed about getting arrested. I think Brett Favre is embarrassed that Jay Cutler outplayed him in his home building.I think Kerry Rhodes is tired about hearing how terrible his secondary is.
Basically, I am saying I believe the Jets are going to come out on fire this week.
The 49ers aren't a terrible team. They can stop the run a little bit, and have a few playmakers on offense. The problem is that they can't stop the pass, and you can get to their quarterback. San Francisco is also going to have a tough time running the ball on the Jets.
Expect a big first quarter from the Jets, a small run by the 49ers, followed by the Jets eventually pulling far away into a 34-14 win. Brett Favre is going to have a big day. Thomas Jones will score another touchdown and Laveranues Coles will bounce back from a quiet showing last week.

I believe that the 49ers are going to win simply because mike singletary has set the bar and its high 'you want to play then you better play hard' nothing compares to old school football and thats how he coaches most players today play for endorsements not because they love the game true enough they still need work with their offensive line. but they are now playing football not ballet.....

I figured that the 49ers would win. The Jets overachieved and are now coming back to earth. They will not make the playoffs.
