The LSU Tigers remains unbeaten and atop the polls as they defeated the Tennessee Volunteers this afternoon in Knoxville, Tenn. 38-7.

Spencer Ware led the game in rushing with 80 yards and a touchdown. Ware's hard-nosed rushing style, and Jarrett Lee's smart decision-making led to the Tigers' success on offense. Overall, the defense played well for the Tigers with the exception of a few rushing plays by Tauren Poole.

With the victory, only the Auburn Tigers stand in the way of LSU and the most anticipated game of the year against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

This is was the story of the Tigers' dominating performance against the Vols.
