Should Pretty Boy Floyd Return to Boxing?

There are a lot of rumors that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is planning a comeback. I am not excited about this at all. The rumors say that he is planning on challenging the current pound for pound number 1, Manny Pacquiao. I hope the rumors are wrong.

If ever Pretty Boy Floyd decides to return, boxing fans will have their own opinion as to who he should fight. I have my own opinion too and it shouldn't be Manny Pacquiao. For me, I'd rather see Mayweather retired than to fight Pacquiao.

The only reason I would see him come back is that if he decides to solidify his legacy by fighting a threat to his "0" record. Pacquiao is not that person. He would box circles around the Pacman and eventually knock him out.

No, it's not Margarito, and definitely not a rematch with de la Hoya or Hatton. I want to see him fight Paul Williams. Before anyone raises any eyebrows and verbally assault me, hear me out first.

I know you all have your own fighter who you think Floyd should fight. And for me, well, Paul Williams is my bet. With a distinct height advantage and his win over Margarito places him above the rest of the other challengers who keeps on calling Floyd out. I see it as a competitive fight.

This time, it will be Paul Williams making use of the ring as Floyd tries to get inside. Most of Floyd's fights, he is the one countering and for this one, he will be the one on the offensive to nullify Paul's reach advantage.

I believe this will be a fight that can really challenge the former pound for pound champ. If he will be fighting Paul Williams, then I'd be very excited to see his return.
