Breaking News: Arrowhead Stadium Goes Commercial, New Name in Works

According to Bob Gretz via Arrowhead Addict, the Kansas City Chiefs have sold the naming rights to either the stadium or the field.

Apparently they've been seeking a buyer for quite some time. No one seems to know who the buyer is yet, but the the word is we won't have to do an Internet search to find out who they are or what they do.

So much for tradition over commercialization, fellow Chiefs fans. Wal-Mart at Arrowhead Stadium anyone?

They speculate the announcement will likely come on Halloween coinciding with the San Diego game.
