Ohio State Football: Dominic Clarke Arrested on Camups, Won't Play at Illinois

According to reports, Ohio State sophomore cornerback Dominic Clarke was arrested Sunday and charged with disorderly conduct and will not travel with the team for the game at Illinois.

Clarke, freshman offensive lineman Chris Carter and freshman basketball player Sam Thompson were sitting on the roof of Marketplace shooting a "compressed air" gun down at people. Clarke was the only one of the three to be arrested, while the others gave statements to the police.

With what is becoming the norm in Columbus, another player—Clarke—was suspended. Head coach Luke Fickell couldn't comment much on the incident, but he did say this was a campus issue and was in the university's hands. However, Fickell did decide on his own account to suspend Clarke for this week's game in Illinois.

Third-string CB Doran Grant will help to fill in for Clarke. Fickell also said backup safety Corey "Pittsburgh" Brown could also help to backup the starting cornerbacks.

Clearly just another day in this ever-so-hectic season.
