Edisto High School's Brice Johnson is down to his final four schools.
The South Carolina native and athletic power forward will be choosing between North Carolina, Florida, North Carolina State and Clemson.
The two schools that are ahead of the pack right now are the Tar Heels and Gators. Recently, he took his second visit to Chapel Hill, which could bode very well for the ACC powerhouse.
The 6'9" 200-pound, four-star recruit earned the 2011 South Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year award, and is the logical choice to win again during his senior year. His game is a mix between UNC's John Henson and NBA swingman Tayshaun Prince.
He made a name for himself this summer while playing in the LeBron James Skills Academy as well as South Carolina's Nike Peach Jam.
Look for the late blooming prospect to make a final decision within the next month.
Wherever he decides to take his considerable talents, the consensus top 50 national recruit will bring immediate shot blocking help, and could develop into an all-conference performer down the road.
