Seriously, they are pretty good. Say what you want about the Big Ten Network – they are greedy bastards that strive on depriving the masses of our beloved conference (again I paraphrase) – but they hired a good ad firm.
News Corp has a 49-percent ownership stake in the network and I am willing to bet that they have access to some top-flight ad agencies. This ad, coupled with the legendary Paterno spot, marks a stark departure from the stodgy image the Big Ten has done its damnest to cultivate. (How else am I supposed to interpret countless references to Woody Hayes, Bo Schembechler, et al.?)
Now, if the Ohio State offense could just hire some outside help and make the leap into the modern age the circle would be complete. But, I digress.
