Oakland Raiders vs. Houston Texans: Live Score, Highlights and Analysis
The Raiders gave the Texans every opportunity to win the game today, but the ghosts of Houston past still are too much for them to overcome.
With seven seconds left in the game and the ball on the five yard line, Matt Schaub was intercepted by Michael Huff to end the game.
The fact that Houston was even in the situation to win that game is quite an amazing feat in itself. This was the worst the offense had looked since Matt Schaub first signed with Houston.
It is just what we thought it was; a different team without Andre Johnson.
Houston 20 Oakland 25 - Final
Of course. Interception in the end zone. Game over. Raiders win. Unreal.
WOW! 1st & goal at the five with seven seconds left in the game.
Roughing the passer call is huge.
Some questionable play calling by Hue Jackson on that drive has the Texans with one last shot in the two minute drill.
A field goal isn't going to get it done. Just a pathetic display from the entire offensive unit.
I'm no doctor, but it looks like Mike Brisiel could be hurt pretty seriously. Horrible news.
You have maybe the best running back in football. Get him involved in the game plan, Kubiak!
What an idiot play by Jacoby Jones. Man, how thick can you get?
This is the worst I've seen the Texans offense look in about four years. Another Janikowski field goal here and this one is done.
Janikowski with another field goal. Increases the Raider lead to eight. The offense is running out of chances.
Hue Jackson with a fake punt call that makes him look like a genius. At a loss for words right now.
Another three and out for the Texans offense. They just look completely uninterested out there. Raiders with a shot to put it out of reach here with the way the Texans offense is playing.
Raiders take back the lead with a touchdown. I'm not feeling too good about this one, Texans fans.
Headed into the final frame and the Raiders are starting to get Darren McFadden going. Doesn't bode well for the home team.
Wow! 54 yard field goal for Rackers makes up for the shorter one he missed earlier in the game. Texans take back the lead.
Kubiak is challenging the no-catch call on the play. It doesn't look like there's enough evidence to overturn it, but with these refs anything is possible.
Absolutely amazing diving catch by Kevin Walter! Let's see if that re-energizes the sluggish offense.
Oakland takes the lead with another long Janikowski field goal. Offense better get things going soon.
Jason Allen is just getting picked on by Jason Campbell. And Johnathan Joseph just left the field and Brandon Harris is in. This might get ugly soon.
Foster has a huge 60 yard gain and then Neil Rackers misses the short field goal. Ouch.
There you go! If you can't get Foster going between the tackles, get him involved receiving the ball. Huge gain there.
The rookie Brooks Reed, stepping in for the injured Mario Williams, knocks the hell out of Jason Campbell on a third and short to force the Raiders to punt. Good to see Brooks getting some pressure out there.
Correct call, but quit throwing the flag only to say there is no foul on the play. Refs need some consistency already.
Second half is underway as Danieal Manning gets a decent return to the 31 for the Texans.
Headed to the half and it's anyone's ball game. Houston offense has had its moments, but it's been nothing special. Hope there are some adjustments made at halftime. Time for a beer run.
