Plaxico Burress' Actions Demand Dismissal

Clayton CoffmanAnalyst IDecember 2, 2008

Plaxico Burress, God bless his soul, has matched the notoriousness of Chad Johnson. From missing team meetings to now carrying a Glock 40 into a club, Burress leaves Tom Coughlin and Giants management, and law enforcement for that matter, no other choice than to take action and suspend the talented receiver.

Would I put the man in prison for three years (minimum prison term)? No, I wouldn't, since he hasn't been a career criminal like Chris Henry.

But Burress' downfall the last couple seasons should result in action. I've always thought highly of Burress but with his decisions the last few seasons, he needs to be brought back down to earth.
