Josh Tibbs, Matt Cassel's agent, saw millions of dollars fall away like a stripped fumble.
"Just one week ago there was talk of a $14 million franchise tag," he said between tears. Well, actually I think he said. It was more like, "He...[sob]...one week ago...[sob]...franchise...[sob]...can you leave me alone?!"
Real men ignore those sounds made by other men. Although my well-paying Bleacher Report job may now hang in the balance, I left Mr. Tibbs alone.
As I left, however, he asked if I'd write a "Trade Brady" article. How do you answer that?
I hope Gawd accepts little white lies are not a sin.
*Josh Tibbs is a made up personality who first appeared in this article.
For any editors, Gawd is right unless you think God is concerned about the NFL sports agents.
