Um, Everyone know$ why there i$ no playoff.

Now I'm going to ask you a tough question.  Where do you think the money comes from?

Some secret cabal of "boosters" of teams you hate?  Try again.

I'll give you a hint.  Look in the mirror.

Advertisers of televised games?  Guess how much they'd pay if some people did the right thing and walked away.

You watch college ball. You are the evil one preventing a playoff.

Now you can talk how Texas (or was it U. of Texas, or Texas Tech, whatever) was screwed.  You miss the bigger problem.  (By the way, for the record, they were at least allowed to pick the color of the barrel they got bent over.)

You may be right that they are a better team than the ignored undefeated.  You tell those kids in August it doesn't matter what they do, they can't get a BCS championship because the school is not part of the club.

A playoff makes them prove themselves.

The reason there is no playoff is reading this right now.
