College Football Predictions Week 6: Can the Stanford Cardinal Run the Table in 2011?
With the Cardinal rolling through opponents this season through the first four games, can Heisman candidate Andrew Luck and Stanford run the table this season in the Pac-12 after nearly pulling off the task last season in the old Pac-10?
Tonight, Stanford will take on new conference member Colorado in Palo Alto in what will likely be yet another rout for the Cardinal as the team has yet to score less than 37 points in their games this season.
After their week six matchup with the Buffaloes, the next big game for the Cardinal in their attempt to go undefeated this season will be another trip to Los Angeles to take on Pac-12 South rival USC just a few days before Halloween on October 29th.
If Stanford can leave Los Angeles 8-0 after their game with USC, the Cardinal will have one final test before the end of the season as the team will take on Oregon, who gave the team their only loss in 2010.
The first ever Pac-12 title game will follow the season finale against Notre Dame where they will take on the Pac-12 South division representative which at this point looks like a surprising Arizona State team that looks to finally be living up to expectations in the desert.
Will Stanford be able to secure their first undefeated season since the 1920s or will the Cardinal be tripped up by one of their Pac-12 rivals in the remainder of the season?
