Believe it or not, we are one-fourth of the way through the 2011 NFL season. And to think the possibility once existed that there wouldn't even be football this season...
To boot, it's been an outstanding season for fantasy football so far. Thanks to what must be an upshot of the lockout, few teams in the NFL have played good defense, and that has led to some pretty gaudy statistics among offensive players.
This is particularly true of the league's quarterbacks, among whom Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (pictured) has reigned supreme. Tom Brady, Matthew Stafford, Drew Brees and rookie sensation Cam Newton have also been reliable fantasy producers.
Given all that has gone on, we can probably take it for granted that we are going to be in for more of the same in Week 5. That means defenses will continue to struggle, which will allow the NFL's top quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends to rack up fantasy points in bunches.
The point of this little setup is to make sure you are fully prepared for Week 5. We're going to talk about everything you need to know, whether it be waiver wire pickups, injury updates or roster advice. The more prepared you are, the better chance you have of heading into Week 6 with a "W" in tow.
If that sounds good to you, all you have to do is check back here periodically. The updates will keep coming, and so will the knowledge.
