The Packers' offense has been humming along all season. Aaron Rodgers picked up where he left off last season and he seems to have a good rhythm with his receivers.
But an injury to Donald Driver might slow things down. He left the Packers' game with an apparent knee injury.
Assuming Driver doesn't play another snap today, it's going to be tough for fantasy owners of his. He had yet to catch a pass in the game.
If Driver misses any significant time, the value of every other Packers receiving option goes up.
Who's the Backup?
The Packers have no shortage of other receiving options on the roster. Jordy Nelson and James Jones will see increased targets and I expect Randall Cobb to be see more playing time.
Greg Jennings and Jermichael Finley were already likely ahead of him on the list of weapons, but their targets will increase as well
Don't overlook the running backs in this situation either. James Starks catches the ball well out of the backfield.
Driver is a big part of what the Packers do on offense, but they can certainly go on without him. I'll put the devastation at a five out of ten.
They will certainly miss him, but I don't think it will change anything about how they run their offense or how their season will turn out.
Timeline for Return
According to an AP report that appeared in the Washington Post, Driver was questionable to return to the game, but more recently, he has come back out on the field.
What They're Saying
WR Donald Driver came running out of the tunnel for the second half.
