College Football Rankings 2011: Overrated Teams in the Top 25
Some of teams in the Top 25 deserve their rankings while others don't. Here are some of the overrated teams in this weeks rankings.
The Wolverines don't have a quality win on the schedule yet and for whatever reason are ranked No.12 in the country. A 58-0 victory over Minnesota apparently was good enough to move them up seven spots in the rankings. It's hard to think that a team that solely relies on one player as much as Michigan does with Denard Robinson is a Top 15 team.
Virginia Tech Hokies
The Hokies aren't overrated because of their current ranking but because of where they were ranked and the type of team they're expected to be. Virginia Tech barely beat East Carolina earlier in the year and got thumped by Clemson last week. Clearly this isn't the same Virginia Tech that we are all use to and for that they are overrated.
Kansas Sate Wildcats
The Wildcats find ways to win and you have to respect that but they are overrated. A win over a shaky Miami team and a Baylor team that is controlled by mainly one player doesn't make you Top 25 worthy. Sure, you have a good running game and a decent defense but it's going to take more than that to convince me Kansas State is for real.
