On the last day of November 2008, the Miami Dolphins faced the St. Louis Rams at their place in the Gateway to the West. While the Miami Dolphins have made some improvements since the 2007 NFL Season, there are some problems that need fixing.

The Miami Dolphins may have won the game but the lack of coordination and discipline in some areas did not help. During the game, Chad Pennington attempted to throw the ball and another player received it only to drop it.

One of the St. Louis Rams received the ball. The Dolphins and the Rams appeared to be battling for the game. It appears that the Fins underestimated the Rams.

The St. Louis Rams appeared to be a team that was far from a weaker team. They fought hard against the Dolphins and appeared to be organized and consistent. It appeared that they would win, but it was not to be.

The Miami Dolphins must win the remaining games if the team is to be a serious contender for the NFL playoffs. They must learn from the mistakes that was committed from this game. Regardless, anything was better than the 2007 NFL Season.

The lesson to be learned is never underestimate your opponent.

Miami Dolphins 16-12 St. Louis Rams

Not much substance to this article, but I understand what you're saying. I don't think the Dolphins underestimated the Rams - they had some injuries to deal with and because they don't have much depth they're figuring out how to adjust. Also, the Rams are simply MUCH better with Steven Jackson in the lineup. He has been out for over a month, so he was back healthy, rested, and ready to go. The Dolphins defense had a great day and Miami got the W. Also, they are back in the mix tied for 2nd and only 1 game back on the leading Jets, because every other AFC East team lost yesterday except for Miami - a complete reversal of last week where every other team won and Miami was the only team who lost.

You are right Jeremiah about substance. I am willing to learn how to add substance to my articles. I will attempt to find my rough draft to rework it.

Good luck. A couple of times in the article I couldn't really understand what you were saying, like in the last sentence of the 2nd paragraph followed by the first sentence of the 3rd paragraph. Make sure all of the spelling is correct.
Before you write an article, think of 2-3 main points you want to make (about the game, a new free agent pickup, etc. - whatever you'll be writing about) and expound on those. Don't be afraid to throw a couple of one-liner jokes in there.
The article just seemed pretty helter-skelter, as in it didn't really flow. I'm sure you'll get it as you continue to write and learn.
    Hope this helps.
