Rex Ryan rarely lets a week go by without offering a nice trash-talking sound byte.

This week, he decided to go multi-sport on us, commenting on the Jets game going up against Game 2 of the NLDS in Philadelphia on Sunday night, invoking the name of a fan-favorite pitcher.

"I was just looking at the baseball playoff schedule, and I must say I feel bad for Cliff Lee," said Ryan. "(He's) one of the best pitchers in baseball, and he has to go up against the Jets on Sunday. He won't have any viewers outside of Philly and St. Louis."

Whether a Week 4 NFL game will draw more viewers than an MLB postseason game remains to be seen.

Where can I comment?
