Chris Weale Heads to Hereford For a Month

Bleacher ReportCorrespondent INovember 27, 2008

Bristol City’s reserve goalkeeper Chris Weale has moved to Hereford United on loan until Christmas Eve.

The player signed just before the five o’clock deadline yesterday.

Many people linked to City thought that Weale would be moving to Rotherham United but the deal fell through before the deadline.

Gary Johnson, City’s manager, has said that the goalkeeper needs games and this is perfect for him and Hereford as City “owe them [Hereford] one” as they cancelled the initial loan when Basso sustained an injury early in the season.

Jennison Myrie-Williams is going nowhere after turning down many offers from the same club.
