Golden Boy Promotion's has reported that the come back bout for Winky Wright has been canceled. Winky has injured his left hand while sparring by hitting his sparring partner on the top of the head. The injury was to the base of the hand and wrist decreasing the punching power by a great percentage.
The cancellation came from doctor's orders so the come back will be prolonged to a later date. To some it won't matter because they felt their should be no comeback at all. To others it will be a itchy wait to see if he can once again capture the championship. The next question will be is he going to take a fight with Michi Munoz or will he go for the big name fight wright away.
