LSU Football: Predicting the Tigers Remaining Games
The LSU Tigers are currently 4-0 and it looks like right now nobody can stop this team. They're on fire and look like they could be in the National Championship when the season is over. Here are predictions for the remaining games on this schedule.
LSU has one of the top defenses in the country and the Wildcats have one of the worst offenses in the country. This game will get ugly as the Tigers improve to 5-0.
Traveling to the swamp is never an easy task. Stopping Chris Rainey and Jeff Demps isn't either but the Gators are coming off a game against Alabama. Whether they win or lose, that's a brutal back-to-back. LSU should be able to sneak by with a victory.
The Volunteers top receiver Justin Hunter is out for the year and that doesn't help this offense at all. Tennessee is one of the worst rushing teams in the country and it's hard to be one dimensional against a defense this great. LSU should win once again.
Auburn has been putting up points but this team is very young and hasn't faced a defense like this all year long. Auburn is also horrible on defense to were running backs Spencer Ware and Michael Ford should have big games. Look for LSU to win again.
This is where I believe the Tigers run into trouble. LSU meets their match as Alabama has a defense that is just as good and may have a slightly better offense than LSU as well. You have to go with the home team in this match up as the Tigers lose their first game of the season.
vs Western Kentucky
Does this game really need a prediction? When you lose to Indiana State, there's a problem.
at Ole Miss
Just like the Kentucky game. You pair one of the worst offenses against one of the best defenses and there should be no question of who wins this game. LSU thumps Ole Miss.
Looking at what Alabama did to Arkansas last week, you have to think LSU can do much of the same. Stop the run and force Tyler Wilson to check down every passing play. The Razorbacks also struggle to stop the run which is bad news when you're playing LSU. Tigers win, again.
LSU should only have one loss on their record when the season is over, which may be good enough to make the SEC Title game if Alabama trips up. Not a bad season considering it started off with so much drama.
