Tonight, Montreal will play the first-placed Ottawa Senators at the Bell centre. The team will then host the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday before going to Ottawa to play the Senators on Saturday. With three wins this week, Montreal will be ranked first in the Eastern conference.

*Carey Price returns to Montreal*

Yesterday, the Canadiens called back rookie goaltender Carey Price from the Hamilton Bulldogs. Price has kept a 9-7-3 record and a 2.90 goals against average this season. The Bulldogs are not scheduled to play this week and the transfer back with the Canadiens is a solid clue that the team wants the rookie goalie to see some action during the week.

Maybe the comeback allowed by the team and goaltender Christobal Huet to the New York Rangers on Sunday afternoon forced the team's decision. Head coach Guy Carbonneau has not announced the identity of the starting goaltender for tonight.
