Oklahoma State vs. Oklahoma

This could be the scene in Stillwater Saturday.  Oklahoma State could very well beat Oklahoma.  In doing so, Oklahoma will be eliminated from national title contention.  Sooner or later, Oklahoma will choke.  I prefer them to do it before they play for a national title.  Final Score: Oklahoma State 31, Oklahoma 28.

Notre Dame vs. USC

This one may be closer than the experts think.  Yes, it's in the Coliseum, but USC historically loses to teams they should beat.  If the Irish can run the football and control the clock, this will be a good game.  But if Jimmy Clausen has the game put on his shoulders, then it will be a long day for the Irish.  Final Score: USC 34, Notre Dame 17.

Nebraska vs. Colorado

A bowl game is on the line for Colorado sitting at 5-6 exactly where they were last year when they came into this game.  The big difference it Nebraska is 7-4 and on a hot streak winning four of five. The biggest difference of all is the game is in Lincoln and not in Boulder.  Final Score: Nebraska 51, Colorado 28.

Texas vs. Texas A&M

A&M has won the last 2 in this series but there is no way they make it 3 in a row.  Texas is playing for not just a big 12 title but a national title.  They win easily.  Final Score: Texas 41, Texas A&M 14.

Florida vs. Florida State

If Florida State wins this one, we could possibly have an All-Big 12 national title game if Florida goes on to beat Bama in the SEC title game.  This game is close and being in Tallahassee could give Florida State the edge, especially if Florida is looking ahead to Alabama.  Final Score: Florida 31, Florida State 17.

Oregon vs. Oregon State

If Oregon State wins the Civil War, they go to the Rose Bowl; lose and the dream is shattered.  This should be a heck of a game.  But Oregon State's motivation gives them the edge.  Final Score: Oregon State 31, Oregon 24.

Alabama vs. Auburn

Trap game for Alabama.  Auburn is having a terrible year and all roads lead to Florida and the SEC title for Bama.  This is still the SEC, and even the bottom teams are good.  If Bama gets caught looking ahead, they could lose everything.  Final Score: Alabama 38, Auburn 28.

Georgia Tech vs. Georgia

Nebraska fans, guess what? The triple option actually works in major college football!  After pasting Miami last week, Georgia Tech needs a win against Georgia and a Miami loss to play for the ACC title and possibly an Orange Bowl berth.  In one year, Paul Johnson has turned Georgia Tech around.  Final Score: Georgia Tech 31, Georgia 21.
