UFC 135 Fight Card: What We Can Expect to See from Rampage Jackson

Cody SlovenskyContributor IISeptember 24, 2011

Tonight in the main event of the evening, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson will have the opportunity to once again become the UFC light heavyweight champion.

Facing young ace Jon "Bones" Jones, Jackson will be stepping into what could be the toughest fight of his life. Many expect him to lose, but when it comes down to it, could Jackson really just put the "hype train" of Jones to a screeching halt?

Everyone, including Jones, expects the same old Rampage. The guy that loves to box and defend take downs.

With the whole spygate allegations, do you really think Rampage is really going to come in with the same game plan?

Rashad Evans stated that he went to Jackson's camp and said that Jackson was truly training hard for this. That being said, expect Jackson to come out in his normal way, but with him utilizing his wrestling.

Sounds weird, but it would take Jones off guard.

Jackson has the hands that could truly cause him to win this fight, and if this hype really gets to Jones' head, that could lead to self destruction and a new champion.

Expect Jackson to play this fight smart, and if he is going to finish Jones, it will be early into the fight, or into the championship rounds.

Crisp boxing and great take down defense and experience is what Jackson has that can in all truths give him the victory and set up Jackson vs. Evans 2.
