With Philadelphia Eagles quarterback leaving a game early for the second straight week, this time with a broken non-throwing hand, Vick's fantasy owners will have to ponder if back up Eagles quarterback Mike Kafka is a viable option.

I feel that Kafka is, despite the poor showing he had when he came in for Vick in Week 3, throwing two interceptions, trying to create big plays.

If Kafka starts, he won't be thrust into a game with little time left to make a big comeback, and will be able to start the game at his own pace, and work off his own success created on the field.

As Kafka showed in the Atlanta Falcons game last week, he was poised enough to almost lead the Eagles on a game winning drive, since they were down by four points, and had a real shot at winning, with less of a rush involved.

If Kafka gets a whole week to practice, taking the first team snaps all week, then starts out the game out the gate, he stands a much better chance to show the world what has under his belt than he would being pushed into a high pressure situation late in a game, with only a small amount of game time experience to his name.

So in my opinion if your looking for a Vick back up in Week 4 and beyond, then Kafka should do just fine standing in for Vick until he makes his return.
