Juan Pablo Montoya Rejects Offers to Return to Formula One

Former BMW-Williams and McLaren-Mercedes driver Juan Pablo Montoya reportedly has rejected propositions by Formula 1 teams to return to the open-wheel circuit.

According to the EFE News Agency, Montoya was quoted as saying, "[F1 teams are] still looking for me, but I have rejected those offers." Scuderia Toro Rosso has admitted to having failed conversation with the Chip Ganassi driver about returning to the pinnacle of motorsport.

In the EFE interview, Montoya claims that he and his family are happy in the United States and NASCAR.

Montoya, who has been participating in NASCAR since 2007, finished 25th in the NASCAR Sprint Cup standings in 2008.
