The Predators thrashed the Carolina Hurricanes 5-2 on Sunday afternoon. Shea Weber and Jason Arnott had two goals apiece, and Martin Erat added two helpers. Dan Ellis rebounded from back-to-back poor performances by stopping 24-of-26 shots.

The Blues defeated the Preds 5-2 at home to open the season. Keith Tkachuk started this season off fast by scoring two goals in that game. Tkachuk has 16 goals and 22 assists in 41 career games versus Nashville. Manny Legace will start in goal tonight and he is 12-7-0 career against the Preds with a 2.16 goals against average.

The Predators are 4-2 in their last six games and currently sit tied for third in the Central with 21 points. Shea Weber and Jason Arnott are tied for the team lead with 10 goals. Jason Arnott has ten goals against St. Louis in his career and Dan Ellis is 2-1-0 with a 3.06 GAA against the Blues.

With a victory tonight, the Blues can climb over .500 and go 3-0-0 since Andy McDonald went down with a fractured ankle. Paul Kariya and Patrick Berglund have not been ruled in or out for tonight's game at this time.
