Notre Dame entered this season with higher expectations they have had in years and after a 1-2 start those expectations have dropped. Sure, they beat a Michigan State team last week but they also lost to South Florida and gave up an 80 yard tocuhdown drive in 28 seconds to lose to Michigan.

It's time for Notre Dame to join a conference and stop being independent whether head coach Brian Kelly likes it or not.

Notre Dame is one of the biggest programs in college football and has a ton of history and tradition. But Notre Dame is also not looked at the same way anymore. We're tired of saying this is the year Notre Dame is going to be back only to be disappointed.

It's looking more and more likely that super-conferences are going to be formed and the Irish need to hop on board.

Notre Dame's contract with NBC also ends in 2015, where is the majority of the revenue going to come then if they are still independent?

Sometimes you have to put tradition and pride aside and do what's best to win. If you can't win on your own, you must do something different.
