It had been widely speculated that San Antonio's Manu Ginobili, who had surgery on his left ankle in September, could return this week.

It appears that Gregg Popovich finally agrees.

The Spurs guard is scheduled to make his season debut tonight at Memphis.

"It's great to hear," Ginobili told the Express-News. "It's been enough time."

The Spurs will try to get over the .500 mark (6-6) for the first time this season when they face the Grizzlies in Memphis.

This is likely, the best news involving Ginobili that the team has had since Ginobili’s injury kept San Antonio from advancing to the Finals last season.
