Eric Bischoff, who serves as a producer on the Hulk Hogan Celebrity Championship Wrestling television show, has spoken about the recent legal issues WWE are raising up to prevent Ed Leslie from using the name Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake on the show.

"If I were Vince, I wouldn’t want five million wrestling fans watching a fresh concept and entertaining product either. Especially with the product he is currently producing," said Bischoff, whose company Bischoff/Hervey Entertainment is involved with the show.

Bischoff adds that before they received the letter, the other trainer Brian Knobs told him that WWE's Senior Vice President of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis, called him and told him "not to go near any WWE talent or events as no one who is associated with CCW will ever work for WWE again."

Even Jimmy Hart, who has worked for WWE for so many years and is still used for promotional activities, was told he will no longer be working for WWE again. Bischoff says that Hart asked for permission from WWE to participate on the show and was given the go ahead by the company.
