The real question here is, what was LSU thinking when they hired Les Miles as their head coach? As I said since the first day he got the job, what track record did they go off of for them to think he can coach in the big leagues?
This has nothing to do with the quarterback situation. He gave the Alabama game away when he did not have to throw one pass and would have easily won that game.
Saban's recruits are now all gone, and I can promise you as long as Miles is the coach there, which I don't see him there at the end of the 2009 season, LSU will not have another winning season. This is really gonna hurt the recruiting at LSU. He is one of the worst coaches, if not the worst, in NCAA football.
I'm not only saying this because of what is happening this year. Hell, I said it after they won the NC last year. I was at the Troy game last Saturday, and yes, I did leave early. Even if I knew what the outcome was going to be, I would have still left early. I could not take any more of it.
Every time Lee threw an interception, what did Les do? Pat him on the back and say that's OK. What gets to me even more is, what coach jumps and yells more then his players when they make a good play? Give me a break.
You can mark this down in your book: After the LSU/Auburn game on Oct. 24, LSU's record will be 3-4 if they are lucky.
LSU NEEDS TO START LOOKING FOR A HEAD COACH NOW AND ALSO TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THE REST OF THE COACHES THERE. THEY NEED TO DO AND DO IT REAL SOON. LSU HAS A LOT OF TALENT ON THAT TEAM. BLAME THE COACHES, NOT THE PLAYERS. YOU CAN PUT A LOSS NEXT TO THE LSU/ARKANSAS GAME ON FRIDAY. HE WILL BE OUTCOACHED AGAIN.
