According to cbssports.com, three incoming St. John's freshmen are ineligible for the fall semester.

The school announced Thursday that 6'6" Amir Garrett, the No. 21-ranked SF overall, 6'10" Norvel Pelle, the No. 15-ranked PF overall and 6'7" JaKarr Sampson, the No. 15-ranked SF overall, did not qualify for the fall semester, but didn't release further details as to why.

St. John's 2011 class includes nine commitments, including three in the top 50 and six in the top 100, and is ranked third overall by Scout.com.
