Stephen Curry has become famous in the world of sports. Last year's incredible tournament run was anything but a fluke, but what about Stephen Curry's NBA potential? Obviously Stephen has the college game figured out. If he plays, Davidson has a chance to win. But is he good enough to make a name for himself on the next level?

Stephen Curry is the son of former NBA sharp shooter Dell Curry. Dell Curry had a knack for shooting the basketball. He, like Stephen, was also athletic and an able defender. At 6'4", Dell was often called an undersized shooting guard, rather than a point guard. Here is a rare difference between the the father and son.

After Davidson's heartbreaking 59-57 loss to Kansas in the Elite Eight, Stephen announced that he would return to Davidson for his junior season. Stephen vowed to develop himself as a point guard and become better at creating his own shots.

Most early NBA mock drafts have Stephen Curry projected as a mid-late first round draft choice. Fortunately for Stephen, most early mocks have not taken into consideration his hard work and effort put into development this summer.

Through the first four games of his junior campaign, Curry is averaging 34 points and 8.8 assists per game.
