I bet the Notre Dame faithful wish they had Urban Meyer right now. Charlie Weis is easily the most overrated coach this decade. He hasn't won a big game with the Irish and his claim to fame, in college, is a tight loss to Southern California. Why did the board of trustees sign Weis to all those years with a huge payrate? Professional success doesn't always equate to the college game and vice versa i.e. Spurrier. The only decent job Weis has done is bringing in some good recruiting classes. Obviously that didn't work today against lowly Syracuse. The Orange, with a lame duck coach, came in to South Bend, on Senior Day, and shocked Notre Dame. What would you call that? Inexcusable in my book. With pressure coming into this season already, this will only fuel the fire in South Bend.
