The time is now, football is back.
After a surprising Sunday featuring many great performances and upsets, Week 1 of the 2011 NFL season comes to an end tonight as the New England Patriots travel south to take on their AFC East rivals, the Miami Dolphins.
For Miami their are plenty of questions surrounding the team. Will Chad Henne step up? More importantly, is this the final season for coach Tony Sparano and general manager Jeff Ireland.
But the Patriots, despite their stability and talent, have questions of their own. Mainly about their pass rush, which they've attempted to improve by bringing in Albert Haynesworth and former Jet Shaun Ellis?
Right now as it stands, the loser of this game will automatically be in last place in the AFC East thanks to victories by the Jets and Bills yesterday. A loss by either team is a step in the wrong direction.
This of course is more true for the Dolphins, who many expect to be blown out at home tonight. Will that be the final result, or will Miami surprise everyone?
We shall find out soon.
I'll be covering these story lines, plus anything else that comes up tonight. Keep checking here for updates, while watching the game, which can be seen tonight at 7 pm (EST) on ESPN.
