LSU kicked off its journey toward the SEC championship game with a big statement win over Mississippi State in Week 2 and after this weekend’s game at West Virginia, the Tigers will dive right into the thick of their SEC schedule.

The early November matchup with Alabama is the one that everyone will be talking about but it’s not the only game that LSU has to be worried about.

How will the Tigers fare in conference play this season?

Here’s a look at how I think the games will play out.

Oct. 1 Kentucky

Prediction: LSU 37, Kentucky 13

Oct. 8 Florida

Prediction: LSU 24, Florida 10

Oct. 15 at Tennessee

Prediction: LSU 31, Tennessee  21

Oct. 22 vs. Auburn

Prediction: LSU 16, Auburn 10

Nov. 5:  At Alabama

Prediction: LSU 23, Alabama 20

Nov. 19: At Ole Miss

Prediction: LSU 41, Ole Miss 13

Nov. 25: Vs. Arkansas

Prediction: Arkansas 24, LSU 20

Yes, I believe that the Tigers will run the table all the way up until the Arkansas game, and then they’ll blow it.

It’s hard to look that far into the future, because it’s impossible to tell where both teams will be at by then, but as I look over the schedule, that one jumps out to me as a true danger game.

If LSU has an undefeated season going into that Friday afternoon game, there will be a lot of pressure on Les Miles and his Tigers.
