Stanford vs. Duke Video: Watch Blue Devils Return Andrew Luck Pass for Big TD
Duke's safety Lee Butler makes a big play to put the Blue Devils on the board against the No. 6 Stanford Cardinal. Butler's pick-six gives Heisman hopeful Andrew Luck his first interception of the season.
The Blue Devils defense has put constant pressure on Luck during the first half, knocking him down three times while recording one sack. Duke seems willing to role the dice against the No. 6-ranked team in the nation, executing both a fake punt and perfect onside kick.
The Blue Devils are far more losing this game than Stanford is winning it. Duke's three missed field goals and inability to convert on third down have put them in an early hole.
If Duke's offense steps up in the second half, they could easily upset the Cardinal. Cutcliffe seems fearless in his play call as the Blue Devils have nothing to lose. It's this attitude that should cause concern to Stanford.
The second half will be a true test for the Heisman front-runner. Will Luck respond to his first interception of the season by continuing to lead Stanford to a win? Or will the Blue Devils keep rolling the dice and come back for the upset?
