Manchester United have had an excellent start to the season by beating North London clubs Tottenham and Arsenal, and the 8-2 victory over the Gunners was even more special considering the two clubs share a long rivalry.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson made some excellent signings in the summer, and among the new players, Ashley Young has been one who has been very impressive and has already established himself as a regular on the team.
Ferguson had to replace some important players like Paul Scholes and Edwin Van Der Sar, who retired at the end of the last season, and the manager signed former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper David De Gea, who has been rather shaky in his first few games at the club.
The Red Devils were linked with plenty of midfielders in the summer, but Ferguson decided to promote Tom Cleverley this season after the aptly named player's good loan spell with Wigan Athletic.
Despite the transfer window being inactive from Sept. 1, it does not stop the various transfer speculation about different players surrounding the club.
