Mark Henry Continues to Leave a Path of Destruction on His Road to Randy Orton
Last week on the live Super SmackDown broadcast, Mark Henry closed the show by beating down Randy Orton, and cementing himself as a threat to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Since Henry began his tear through SmackDown's roster, he's taken out the Big Show and Kane, as well as defeated "The Great White" Sheamus.
Mark Henry earned his number one contender spot for Orton's World Heavyweight Championship by winning a twenty-man battle royal on SmackDown a few weeks ago, but his shot was put on hold by Christian, who managed to squeeze one more match out of his feud with Randy Orton.
Now, with just two weeks left before WWE Night of Champions, it's safe to predict that Henry is going to continue to be booked as an unstoppable force.
Henry has already torn through multiple big name opponents, and at this point is running out of options. One name that comes to mind, is Christian.
It may be too early to have Henry squash Christian for the sake of being taken seriously as a challenger to Randy Orton, but it would certainly prove a point to walk through the former World Heavyweight Champion.
What will Mark Henry taking out Christian prove? That he can beat a recent former champion who was a challenge to Randy Orton. It's not as though Christian is busy at the moment, he's not slated in any major angles.
If Henry doesn't get a chance to crush Christian, he might be stuck running through midcarders.
Personally, I think the feud between Randy Orton and Christian will be too hard an act to follow. Although Henry is the best monster heel going, a history of ridiculous gimmicks and poor performances has turned many fans off when it comes to Henry on camera in any capacity.
