Discussing the Chicago Bears quarterback situation this season will start my coverage of the teams season starting with rex grossman whose contract is up this season and all three quarterbacks on the roster including bryan griese and kyle orton with the  key question being who will resign or will all three be traded. Rex went down with a injury in the last few weeks of the season and was the starter at the week 1 start of the season but was throwing two many interceptions and was benched for brian griese who came in and racked a lot of yards near a thousand for three or four weeks before hurting his shoulder and the team was still turning the ball over a lot and this lead to them losing a lot of close games that they could have won that eliminated them from the playoffs by week 11. Kyle Orton started the season finale and played well enough to win but the devin hester and the defense were the difference in the game and the 33-24 win over the saints to finish 6-10 continuing the trend that getting to the super bowl and returning the next year except for a few teams is hard to do. Speedster garrett wolfe was not used enough and to much was put on cedric benson and thomas jones should not have been traded after the super bowl loss to the colts. Since they finished 6-10 the bears should get to pick early in the draft and another running back and offensive line help should be the top goal and getting cedric benson back healthy will help next season. The defense and devin hester on special teams was all the bears had to cheer about this season and they can build on both of these pluses next season.
