Flagler College head coach Bo Clark achieved a milestone win—his 400th—as his Flagler team defeated the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez 98-61 this past Tuesday, November 18.

Making the win even more special for Clark was getting it at home, at Flagler Gym, in St. Augustine, FL—where Bo Clark has coached for 23 seasons.

From the tip-off, Clark’s Flagler squad seemed eager to earn the win for their coach, running out to 55-27 halftime lead while shooting a ridiculous 83% from the field.

Leading the way for the Saints was sophomore guard John Pietkiewicz, who tallied 19 points on 7-10 shooting.

Flagler’s offensive attack was about as balanced as you can ask for, with five other players scoring in double figures.

Jon Matthews scored 16 points off the bench while Kenny Moore, Ben De La Cruz, D.J. Ferguson, and Tarron Stewart each added 11 points.

De La Cruz added a team-high seven rebounds and four blocked shots, and Ferguson narrowly missed a double-double, dishing out nine assists.

With the win, Clark becomes just the 25th active coach in NCAA Division II to reach number 400.  And while reaching 400 wins is impressive, the accolade is nothing new for a man who is very familiar with breaking and setting records

In addition to an All-American playing career at UCF, Clark has also collected Coach of the Year Awards like they are candy.

The most recent win brings Clark’s overall record to 400-233.
