Four weeks ago Adam Jones, better known to many as Pacman, was wrongfully suspended by the league for what they claimed was an incident where Jones got into a fight with one of his body guards, causing some damage.

His punishment: a four-game suspension and an "alcohol addiction" program. Meanwhile, players such as Matt Jones,  who was caught in possession of cocaine (a felony), denies that it is his and is allowed to walk by the league. Marshawn Lynch ran into people then fled the scene—what was his punishment by the league for the incident? None.

Then there is the case of Larry Johnson, who has to serve a one-game suspension and loses $147,000 for punching a woman in the face at a night club.

Talk about a load of crap. This guy said he would be tough on ALL the players and owners who violate league rules and policies, but so far he has shown me that he is a marshmallow when it comes to what other players do. But if Jones so much as sneezes the wrong way, he is out of the league forever.

And what about that supposed Jones incident? The night in question is now really clouded by the admission of the officer who wrote the report—who later came out and said he did, in fact, falsify the report.

So is it right that Jones is made to serve the four-game suspension while others are allowed to walk untouched by this so-called hard-on-crime commissioner?

You be the judge.

  1. There are some inconsistency for sure, but Pacman isn't a chronic trouble-maker. He doesn't deserve your sympathy because he's a poor example to setup a defense to your idea that players aren't evenly handled.

If Pacman had ANY sense what's so ever, he would make doubly sure not to engage in any controversy--even avoid having to pick between Pepsi or Coke.

    1. I meant to say that Pacman IS a chronic trouble-maker. Sorry.

  2. The point is this clown said he was gonna be hard on every player and come down on every owner who had these kinds of trouble-makers on there team, Instead he suspends a guy who really did
not deserve to be suspended.. but let's the others who committed far worse crimes off the hook
So where is the logic in that? this guy is a joke as a commissioner
