NBA, NBA Southeast, NBA Southwest, Charlotte Bobcats, Dallas Mavericks, Game Recap

Well, well, well, I hate writing articles like this because I hate seeing the Bobcats lose. Oh I know why because they cannot play one bit of defense. Last night was pretty awful. The Bobcats lost to one of the Western Conference's best teams, the Dallas Mavericks, 100-83. None of the Charlotte Bobcat players were leaders in points, rebounds, or assists.

Dallas had complete control over the game from start to finish. They did everything a team should and more. Dirk Nowitzki went off for 32 points. It was the fourth time he hit 30+ points this season. In 36 minutes he also grabbed nine rebounds. Point guard Jason Kidd did not do much in the scoring department but contributed with 10 assists. His backup, Jason Terry, had 15 points to go along with three assists and three rebounds.

Forward Josh Howard, and a Bobcat trade target, had 21 points. Will the Bobcats be after him again? I don't know but we need to do something.

On the Bobcat side, the rookie did it again. He lead the Bobcats with 21 points, four assists, and four rebounds while starter Raymond Felton only had 11 points and three assists. Augustin did not start but got the most minutes between the two. This makes me wonder if Felton is on the way out. Hopefully Augustin starts so we get some energy in our game.

The big man, Emeka Okafur had five points and nine rebounds. Only five points. I expected him to do better. Something is wrong in the locker room of this Bobcat team. The chemistry is not there. The Bobcats dropped to 3-7 and play in Atlanta on Friday.

  1. At least if you guys go lottery you have your pick. Not so for Dallas.

    1. True but lets not count anything out yet.

  2. Hear ya. Personally I wouldn't mind if your guys picked off a few in the West(my team excluded)LOL.
