Nascar.com has announced that Roush-Fenway Racing's Driver Matt Kenseth has signed a multi-year extension with the team.
Kenseth has been with RFR since 1998 and currently sits as its longest tenured driver. Matt, who finished off the year with no wins, did have nine top fives and 20 top 10's in 2008.

He finished 11th in the standings after running out of gas at Homestead.
Team owner, Jack Roush, currently has five drivers in his stable which includes Greg Biffle, Carl Edwards, Jamie McMurray, and David Ragan.
Starting in 2010, all teams are only allowed to race four teams per organization. Currently, Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle all signed extensions earlier in the year. Now with Kenseth signing, that leaves one spot still available come 2010.
The length of the extension and terms were not released at this time.
