Felix Jones' Season Officially Over

Jeff Prince Correspondent INovember 20, 2008

It is being reported that Dallas Cowboys rookie running back, Felix Jones, has been placed on injured reserve and will have surgery to repair a torn ligament underneath his left big toe.

Jones suffered the torn ligament in his toe while rehabbing the partially torn hamstring he suffered in a loss earlier this season to the Arizona Cardinals.

Jones was expected to make his return last Sunday against the Washington Redskins.

By being placed on injured reserve, it will officially end the promising young rookie's season.
