The Timberwolves have a reason to celebrate. They're no longer the NBA's worst team, Hotdog!

Al Jefferson had 25 points and 11 rebounds and received help from role player, Craig Smith (21 points in 27 minutes), as Minnesota routed short-handed L.A. 104-83. With the win, the Timberwolves go to 10-36 and become the second worst team in the league, behind the Miami Heat (9-36 with tonight's loss).

The Clippers fall to 14-29. They have no reason to celebrate, it was just another loss in the record books for them.

Corey Maggette and Chris Kaman did not play because of the flu. The Clippers threw together their 20th seperate lineup this season for the game.

Sam Cassell did virtually everything for the Clippers tonight finishing with 17 points, six rebounds, and three steals (all team highs) against his former team.

Veteran Cuttino Mobley scored 16 points for Los Angeles.

The Clippers blew a early 10 point lead in the second, as Al Jefferson went on a self made 11-0 run to trim the lead to four by halftime.

The Timberwolves came out roaring, scoring 31 points in the third, and playing good overall defense, holding the Clippers to 15 points in the third.

Al Jefferson's jumper with 3:57 left in the third quarter sealed the contest for Minnesota. The Timberwolves also outrebounded the Clippers 51-34, and outdimed them 19-11.
