After a disappointing 90-89 loss to the Detroit Pistons, the Los Angeles Lakers must regroup as they head to Toronto to play the Raptors.

Toronto has won eight of its last 11 games.

The Lakers trailed by as many as 17 points in the first-half in their game against the Pistons, but came back and took a five-point lead heading into the fourth quarter.

The rebound the Lakers couldn’t grab in the final 16 second of play led to a wide open three-pointer from TayShaun Prince—which was all Detroit needed to secure a win.

“It’s a tough loss because I felt like we had the game, but we made mental errors down the stretch,” said Kobe Bryant. “But I’m encouraged, and if we keep playing hard like this on the trip, we’ll be all right.”

Kobe Bryant scored 39 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, but committed a season-high 11 turnovers.

Los Angeles is now winless in four of its last five games and have lost its third straight game away from Staples Center.
