Humor Bowl XLII: What Would Bill Parcells Do?

In a recent interview, Coach Bill Belichick  was asked to give a review of his game plan.  His comments, which follow, were quite illuminating:

We are going to try to get a slow start with a 7-10 point deficit early in the game.

Working from there, we’d like to get a few incompletes, a couple runs for no gain, and maybe work in a turnover or two.  Once we have this established it will open up the defensive game plan.

As we all know, defense wins Super Bowls.  It is my intention to get our defense on the field as much as possible.

I briefly considered punting on first down but we want to play a team game so I'll leave the offense out there, as much as it pains me to do so.  We don't want to get into one of those affairs where we try to outscore them.

We would much rather win by sticking to our game plan.  I think we are going to score about two touchdowns and a field goal. 17 points sounds about right, I think we win the game 17-21.
