No Pressure From Fergie On International Players

Manchester United utility man John O’Shea has told the British media that Sir Alex Ferguson would never stop players representing their countries whether in friendly’s or vital qualifying matches.

In a time where club versus country rules the international stage, it is refreshing to see that Sir Alex has maybe changed his ways and that he will not complain when United players are selected for international duty.  This is unlike many other Premiership managers such as Wenger and Benitez.

The Republic of Ireland player has said that there is a lot of pressure on managers but Sir Alex is always willing to let them play no matter what.

With it being an international friendly week, let us hope none of our players return with any injuries so we can continue our attempt to return to the top of the league.

After all, it’s where we belong!
