Dustin Pedroia For MVP

Who said MVPs come in large packages? Pedroia hit .326 with 54 doubles and 86 RBI this past year. He had over 200 hits and scored over 115 runs.

So he  didn't hit 40 homeruns and drive in 130 runs. The definition of a MVP is a player who makes his teammates around him better. The Ryan Howards of the world only make themselves better. How many times did Howard strike out with someone at third and one out?

Maybe the better question is, how many times did Pedroia ground out to second base with a runner on second and no outs. Now that's an MVP.

Dustin Pedroia is the epitome of how baseball is suppose to be played. His jersey was never clean after a game, he hustled on and off the field, and he wanted to win...not for himself, but for his teammates.

Pedroia for MVP!
